Minister Sridhar Babu introduced new programs to create jobs for women at the Indira Shakti Sambarala Sabha in Peddapalli. He was accompanied by Ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao, Seethakka, and MLA Vijayaramana Rao.
Babu shared that the government has made progress by renting nine buses from women’s groups in Peddapalli district, a change from the past when men mostly handled such agreements. Women have also been given roles in sewing school uniforms and managing solar power projects. They now have opportunities to buy paddy from local farmers.
“Our goal is to help one crore women become millionaires,” Babu announced, also mentioning plans for a V Hub in Peddapalli. He stressed the government’s commitment to protecting the state’s water rights, criticizing former Chief Minister KCR for prioritizing water supply in the Andhra region. “We will firmly uphold the state’s water rights,” he stated.
