Hyderabad: The State Sports Minister, Vakiti Srihari, has urged officials to turn the state’s sports schools and academies into top performers, consistently winning medals.

Together with Sports Authority Chairman Shivasena Reddy, the minister held a meeting to discuss the current state, challenges, and future plans for these institutions.

Srihari emphasized that for the 2025–26 academic year, selecting students must be fair and solely based on merit.
