A Bhojpuri singer, Abhishek aka Babul Bihari, was arrested by Gurugram Police for allegedly raping a minor girl and posting an inappropriate photo of her on social media. Two years ago, while living in Gurugram’s Rajiv Nagar area, he befriended the 13-year-old girl. Recently, the accused shared the picture on social media, which went viral, and the victim’s parents came to know about the incident. The girl then revealed the incident to her family. The family lodged an FIR at the Sector 14 police station under relevant sections of the POCSO and IT Act. The accused was arrested and sent to jail.
