Hyderabad: Telangana Finance Minister Harish Rao has raised concerns about the recent demolition of houses in the state, describing it as “bulldozer politics.” He criticized the government’s actions, pointing out that while there seems to be no money for welfare programs, the homes of the poor are being torn down.
Harish Rao further stated, “We are not going after the rich, but it is the homes of the poor that are being destroyed.” He assured the public that if needed, a BRS MLA would personally visit the affected colonies to stand by and support the poor.
His remarks have sparked a debate, highlighting the growing frustration with how the state is handling the issue. Many people are now questioning why the government is demolishing homes while failing to address the urgent needs of the common citizens.
