Wanaparthy MLA Lays Foundation for Underground Drainage in Weavers’ Colony

Wanaparthy MLA Thudi Megha Reddy laid the foundation stone for an underground drainage system in Weavers’ Colony, located in Veltur village of Peddamandadi mandal, on Thursday.

During the event, the MLA highlighted the importance of improving drainage systems to tackle sanitation issues in rural areas. She announced that Rs. 7 lakh has been allocated for this project. Thudi Megha Reddy also directed officials to ensure the work is completed efficiently, maintaining high quality and a fast pace.

The event was attended by several local leaders and officials, including Wanaparthy market yard vice-chairman Ramakrishna Reddy, former ZPTC Venkataswamy, ex-sarpanch Srinivas Reddy, former MPTC C Venkataiah, and the Panchayati Raj Assistant Engineer. Congress party activists and other leaders were also present at the occasion.
