The Alampur MLA, Dr. VM Abraham, attended a General Body meeting in the morning at Ieeja Municipality. The MLA was present as an Ex-officio member along with municipal Chairman Chinna Devanna and Commission Golkonda Narsayya.
During the meeting, the MLA mentioned that the Telangana state Chief Minister KCR is taking special measures for the development of all municipalities in the state. He also announced a special allocation of 25 crores of rupees for the development of Ieeja Municipality during his visit to Gadwal while opening the IDOC.
Dr. VM Abraham handed over a copy of the Government Order (GO) allocating 25 crores to the Chairman. He advised Commissioner Golkonda Narsayya to quickly send proposals for the allocation and initiate the development works.
The Chairman expressed gratitude to Chief Minister KCR, Minister S Niranjan Reddy, and MLA Dr. VM Abraham for their support. The municipal council discussed and approved various urban development issues mentioned in the agenda.
Municipal Commissioner Golkonda Narsayya, municipal councillors, municipal staff, and others also participated in the morning meeting.
