Hyderabad: On Wednesday, Telangana Jana Samithi President Prof M Kodandaram emphasized that everyone must follow the law if they make a mistake. He stated that appearing before a commission is necessary when public funds are involved. He mentioned that investigating the Kaleshwaram project, which cost a huge amount of money, is not wrong.
Kodandaram criticized those causing a commotion because KCR attended the inquiry. During the Jana Samithi plenary meeting at the TJS state office in Nampally, he remarked, “Anyone making errors must answer to the law. The Kaleshwaram project, initiated by KCR, failed, leaving only debt. KCR must face the commission and reveal the truth.” He also noted that the Congress government is at least addressing people’s issues, unlike the previous administration.
Kodandaram advised the Jana Samithi to be more active in Greater Hyderabad soon. Before the meeting, he raised the party flag at Goshamahal and then led a rally to the party’s state office in Nampally. The event began with a flower garland tribute to Acharya Jayashankar and featured songs and dances by artists in memory of the martyrs. Professor Haragopal attended as the special guest.
