The Telangana Congress has suspended MLC Chintapandu Naveen, also known as Teenmaar Mallanna, for his anti-party activities. The decision was announced on Saturday by the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC).

Chinna Reddy, the chairman of the party’s disciplinary action committee, issued the suspension orders. This move came as a surprise to Teenmaar Mallanna, who had criticized both the party and the government over comments related to a community and a caste census.

Earlier, on February 5, the disciplinary action committee had sent a show-cause notice to Teenmaar Mallanna. The notice asked him to explain his actions and statements by February 12.

However, Teenmaar Mallanna did not respond to the notice. Instead, he continued to make allegations against the Congress party and the government on social media. Considering this behavior, the party decided to suspend him immediately.

The suspension became a major topic of discussion within the Congress party, especially since it happened just a day after Meenakshi Natarajan took charge as the new in-charge of Telangana Congress.
