Priyadarshini Gaddam Joins NMDC as Director (Personnel)
Hyderabad: Priyadarshini Gaddam officially took charge as Director (Personnel) at NMDC on Friday. The Ministry of Steel appointed her as a Functional Director on the company’s Board.
Before this, she served as the Chief General Manager (Personnel & Administration) and was the Head of Personnel for both the NMDC Corporate Office in Hyderabad and NMDC Steel Limited in Nagarnar.
Priyadarshini started her journey at NMDC as an Executive Trainee in 1992. Over the years, she steadily moved up the ranks, becoming a key leader. She has also played a crucial role in encouraging more women to take on leadership roles in the mining industry.
With more than 30 years of experience, she has worked to create a safe workplace for women and promote equal opportunities for people with disabilities. She has also helped improve employee welfare at NMDC.
Additionally, Priyadarshini has simplified various processes in the company, including Industrial Relations, Recruitment, Medical Policies, and Stakeholder Management. Her efforts have strengthened NMDC’s work culture and operations.
