    AICC general secretary (org) K C Venugopal was upset during a virtual meeting about Lok Sabha poll preparations because over a dozen MLAs and a minister were absent. He asked for a report on their absence and said that leaders will be judged based on their performance.

    Venugopal emphasized that the positions given to party leaders will be determined by how well they do in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. He warned that leaders who do not perform well in the elections will not be given any posts.

    During the meeting, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Telangana in-charge Deepa Dasmunshi, ministers, MLAs, and MP candidates were present.
