    Several laborers were injured in a goods carrier accident. The accident occurred when a goods carrier carrying 30 women laborers overturned on Gadwali Road near Katta Kinda Timmappa Temple Road in Ieeja Municipality. Ten women were severely injured, with two of them in critical condition and taken to a hospital in Kurnool for treatment. The rest were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

    Local residents blamed the auto drivers for allowing too many passengers in the vehicle and for driving recklessly, which led to the accident. They called for strict action against such negligent drivers. The government was urged to take measures to address the damages caused by the incident.

    The district collector was asked to provide labor work under the EGS program to the affected laborers promptly. Immediate action was requested to ensure the well-being and safety of the laborers involved in the accident.
