Several police officers from Nagar Kurnool district recently received medals for their outstanding performance. These awards were given during the Zonal Level Police Duty Meet held in Jogulamba Gadwal Zone. Officers from five districts, which were once part of the Mahbubnagar district, participated in the competition in 2024.
Kollapur Circle Inspector (CI) Mahesh won a Gold Medal in the Medical Cases category. Lingala Sub-Inspector (SI) Jaganmohan also secured a Gold Medal in the Crime Investigation category. Additionally, Uppununthala SI Lenin earned a Bronze Medal, and Special Branch SI Jayaprada received a Silver Medal.
In the Scene of Offense – Lifting and Packing category, Lingala SI Jaganmohan won a Bronze Medal, and Kollapur CI Mahesh took home a Silver Medal.
The Superintendent of Police (SP) of Nagar Kurnool, Vaibhav Gaikwad Raghunath, praised the officers for their achievements and congratulated them on their success. He also mentioned that the officers selected at the zonal level were invited to participate in the State Level Duty Meet. SP Gaikwad extended his best wishes to them for the upcoming competition.
