Warangal: Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy urged people to stand up against the BJP, accusing the party of trying to destroy the Indian Constitution.
While speaking to residents in the 49th and 50th Divisions of the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) on Friday, Naini participated in the “Jai Bapu, Jai Bheem, Jai Samvidhan” campaign. He asked the public to support Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to stop Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s plans, which he claimed only benefit rich people and big businesses.
Naini said the Congress party wants to protect the values of India’s 75-year-old Constitution, while the BJP-led government is causing religious conflict in the country. He called on the people to take action against the Modi government before it’s too late.
He also mentioned that nearly 60 percent of people in Gujarat are unhappy with Modi but are waiting for the right time to respond. He said Rahul Gandhi is currently on a foot march in Gujarat to raise awareness about what he called Modi’s poor leadership. Naini accused the BJP of using religion and violence to gain political power.
Other Congress leaders who joined the event included Raja Malla Reddy, Md Afsar, Nekkonda Kavitha Kishan, Manasa and Ramprasad Inugula, Naini Laxma Reddy, Bandari Janardhan Goud, and D Tirupati Reddy.
