Fostering Confidence, Communication, and Creativity Among Young Learners Across India
Hyderabad, October 2025: Narayana Schools successfully concluded Season 6 of the Master Orator Contest, an annual initiative that nurtures students’ public speaking skills, creativity, and confidence while fostering effective communication, critical thinking, and self-expression.
Now in its sixth consecutive year, the contest has grown into a Pan-India program conducted across Narayana Schools nationwide. This year’s edition saw 100% participation across campuses in Telangana, reflecting the enthusiasm and dedication of students and teachers alike.
Held from July to October 2025 in Telangana, and now ongoing in other states, the contest engaged students from Grades 1 to 9, offering age-appropriate themes that inspired both imagination and awareness.
For younger students, topics such as “If I Could Talk to Animals,” “If I Became a Superhero,” and “One Thing I Would Change in the World” encouraged creative expression, storytelling, and curiosity. Meanwhile, senior participants from Grades 8 and 9 explored socially conscious themes inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Quality Education, Gender Equality, Good Health and Well-being, Clean Water and Sanitation, and Climate Action.
Through this initiative, Narayana Schools aimed to help children refine articulation, tone, and body language while building the confidence to communicate effectively in public settings. The contest also encouraged analytical and creative thinking, improved listening skills, and nurtured clarity of thought — hallmarks of Narayana’s commitment to holistic development.
Each student was evaluated on language proficiency, body language, content quality, creativity, voice modulation, and time management. Winners were honoured with trophies for first, second, and third places, celebrating their passion and courage to express themselves.
Speaking about the initiative, Ms. Sindhura Narayana, Director of Narayana Educational Institutions, said:
“At Narayana Schools, we want every child to find their voice and the confidence to use it meaningfully. The Master Orator Contest isn’t just about speeches — it’s about helping students believe in their ideas and express them with purpose. When children communicate with conviction, they move one step closer to realising their dreams, and that’s what inspires us every day — because Your Dreams Are Our Dreams.”
For over four decades, Narayana Schools have been a trusted name in education, blending academic excellence with holistic growth. With over 500 schools across India, the institution continues to empower young minds through innovation, values, and a vision rooted in its guiding philosophy: “Your Dreams Are Our Dreams.”
