Narayana Schools Hosts Grand Finale of Model United Nations 2026 Across North India

Narayana Schools organized the Grand Finale of Narayana MUN (Model United Nations) 2026 across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab, marking the sixth consecutive year of this flagship initiative. The event demonstrated the institution’s continued commitment to developing confident, articulate, and globally aware young leaders through experiential learning platforms.

Since its inception in 2020, Narayana MUN has established itself as a significant leadership platform for Grade IX students. The programme simulates real-world global diplomacy, allowing students to assume roles as international delegates, debate pressing global issues, and draft resolutions that mirror the functioning of actual global policy forums. The initiative has grown steadily in both scale and impact over the years.

The 2026 edition witnessed substantial participation across all three regions. In Delhi, out of 650 student nominations from 13 campuses, 78 students advanced to the finale. In Uttar Pradesh, 45 students qualified from 255 delegates representing 6 campuses. Meanwhile, in Punjab, 24 students reached the final round from 283 delegates across 6 campuses.

Participants represented a total of 57 countries across the three regions and deliberated on critical global issues aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students engaged in debates, moderated caucuses, negotiations, and collaborative resolution drafting, presenting well-researched and solution-oriented approaches to contemporary international challenges.

The programme has consistently strengthened students’ analytical thinking, research capability, and public speaking skills through structured rounds culminating in the Grand Finale. Students demonstrated strong research aptitude, diplomatic skills, and global awareness while addressing complex international issues through the Model United Nations framework.

Ms. Sharani Ponguru, Director, Narayana Educational Institutions, addressed the occasion stating that Narayana MUN has consistently demonstrated how experiential platforms can transform young minds. She noted that the student delegates displayed exceptional maturity, research depth, and diplomatic confidence, adding that the event stands as a testament to the institution’s commitment to nurturing informed, responsible, and future-ready global citizens.
