Hyderabad: Alugubelli Narsi Reddy is preparing to run again as the MLC candidate for the Warangal, Khammam, and Nalgonda Teachers’ Constituency. He will represent the Telangana State United Teachers Federation (TS UTF). This decision was made unanimously during an online meeting of the TS UTF state committee on Tuesday.

Narsi Reddy, who is currently serving as an MLC, will seek re-election in the MLC elections set for March 2025. The committee praised his work over the past five and a half years and decided to support him for a second term. His efforts in solving important issues for teachers, advocating their rights, and pushing for educational reforms were appreciated by the federation.

The meeting was led by TS UTF state president Jangayya and general secretary Chava Ravi. Representatives from 33 districts participated in the discussion. The committee members recognized Narsi Reddy’s continued work in improving teachers’ welfare programs and believed his re-election would help further improve the education system in the state.
