The NCC Directorate of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana received recognition on Wednesday for its outstanding achievements at the All India Vayu Sainik Camp (AIVSC) – 2025. This event took place from September 18 to 29 at the Air Force Station Jalahalli in Bengaluru.
This camp is a significant event for Air Wing cadets in the National Cadet Corps (NCC). It featured participants from all 17 NCC Directorates nationwide, engaging in various competitive and skill-oriented tasks.
The AP&T Directorate sent a 38-member team, including 24 Senior Division (SD) and 12 Senior Wing (SW) cadets. These cadets demonstrated remarkable discipline, teamwork, and technical skills in events like Flying, Drill, Line Area, Skeet Shooting, .22 Firing, Aeromodelling, Drone Handling, and Health & Hygiene.
A notable success was achieved by CPL K Udaya from the 6 (A) Air Squadron NCC in Visakhapatnam, who won the Bronze Medal in the Health & Hygiene competition. His accomplishment emphasized the importance of health awareness, a key part of NCC training and civic duty.
Air Commodore Narsingh Sailani, Deputy Director General of the NCC Directorate AP&T, applauded the cadets and staff for their commitment and achievements. He commended their hard work and expressed optimism about the Directorate’s continued success in future national camps and contests.
