    Gadwal: A new CT scan facility has been set up at the District Government General Hospital in Jogulamba Gadwal district. It was officially opened on Friday by Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy and District Collector B.Y.M. Santosh. The facility cost Rs. 2.5 crore and is located in the hospital’s Radiology Lab.

    During the event, Collector Santosh said that the government is working hard to improve medical services for the public. He explained that the new CT scan machine will help doctors find health problems quickly and accurately. This advanced technology can detect even small issues, allowing for early and better treatment.

    He also mentioned that earlier, patients had to travel to other towns for CT scans. This caused delays and extra costs. Now, with the machine available locally, people can save time and money. It will especially help poor and middle-class families. Santosh urged everyone to use this service and asked doctors to do their part in giving the best care to patients.

    MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy said that the state government is committed to giving high-quality medical services to the poor. He said that machines like the CT scanner are usually seen only in big hospitals, and having one in Gadwal is a big step forward. It will help patients get tested and treated faster, without the need to travel far.

    Many people attended the event, including Kurva Hanumanthu, Chairman of the Gadwal Market Yard, Hospital Superintendent Indira, hospital staff, local leaders, and community members.

    The new CT scan facility is expected to greatly improve healthcare in the district. It supports the government’s goal of making good medical services available and affordable to everyone.
