    The Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) is an entrance examination conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). The exam is conducted for admission into various undergraduate courses in the fields of engineering, agriculture, and medical in the state of Telangana.

    The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has announced a new date for the TS EAMCET engineering tests. The exams, which were earlier scheduled to be held from July 5 to July 9, 2021, have now been rescheduled to take place from August 4 to August 10, 2021. This decision has been taken in view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the state.

    The TS EAMCET engineering tests will be conducted in online mode across various test centers in the state of Telangana. The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and will be conducted for a duration of three hours. The questions will be based on the syllabus prescribed by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana, for intermediate courses.

    To be eligible to appear for the TS EAMCET engineering tests, candidates must have passed or appeared for their intermediate examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Candidates belonging to the general category must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in their intermediate examination, while candidates belonging to the SC/ST category must have secured a minimum of 40% marks.
