Hyderabad is witnessing a significant step toward educational equality. The Sumadhura Foundation, part of the Sumadhura Group, has launched a key program called Sumadhura Nirman Shatha Shatham. This initiative aims to improve education for over 7,000 government school students in Telangana. The official launch took place at ZPHS School in Tirumalagiri, Ranga Reddy district, marking an important advancement in rural education.
This program is a collaboration with the Vandemataram Foundation and Telangana’s Department of School Education. It supports high school students by offering quality learning resources, mentorship, and career guidance. The initiative will reach 25 schools across 12 districts, including Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Ranga Reddy, Janagoan, Siddipeta, Suryapeta, Nalgonda, Warangal, Mahaboobabad, Nagarkarnool, Hanumakonda, Peddapalli, and Karimnagar.
The program aims for a 100% pass rate and will run initially for one year, with plans to extend up to ten years. It combines academic support with overall development, providing study materials, exam guides, and volunteer help. Peer learning and group activities are encouraged to promote shared growth.
A major aspect of the program is its focus on scholarships. The Sumadhura Foundation and Vandemataram Foundation will help deserving students pursue higher education. They plan to introduce the Sumadhura Scholarship Program to ease financial challenges for talented students.
Jeevana Kalakuntla, AVP – CSR & Sustainability at Sumadhura Group, emphasized the importance of quality education as a societal foundation. In rural areas with limited resources, the initiative aims to provide every child the chance to learn and dream big.
She highlighted the initiative’s alignment with the national vision of Viksit Bharat, stating it focuses on 100% inclusion and impact.
For the Vandemataram Foundation, this marks a significant program for Grades 8 to 10. Founder Ravinder Rao expressed gratitude for the partnership, noting the initiative’s timely support for rural students.
The program also seeks to strengthen relationships between teachers, students, and parents. By increasing family awareness of education’s importance, it aims to create an environment where every child’s potential can thrive.
