Women from Bhadradri Kothagudem Shine at “RUN FOR HER” Event
As part of the ‘Explore Bhadradri Kothagudem’ programme, women from Bhadradri-Kothagudem district took part in the “RUN FOR HER” event at Knowledge City in Madhapur, Hyderabad, on Sunday. The event was organised under the leadership of District Collector Jitesh V Patil. Around 1,000 women participated in different running categories, including 10K, 5K, and 3K runs.
During the event, women from the district displayed a variety of local products. These included Karakkaya tea powder, honey, flavored honey, vippapoolu, vippanoone, and millet biscuits. Additionally, tribal Giri products such as handmade soaps, nutrimix, and dry mix were also showcased in attractive packaging.
The beautifully packaged products caught the attention of visitors. Many software employees, doctors, and women from different fields bought the products in large quantities, showing their support and encouragement for the women entrepreneurs.
Representatives of women’s groups expressed their gratitude to Collector Patil for his initiative. Officials like Naga Jyothi (DPM) and Venkaiah (APM) also participated in the programme, helping to promote the women’s products and create awareness about their efforts.
