Forest Minister Konda Surekha has approved the movement of vehicles at night in the Tiger Zone under the Kawwal Sanctuary.
Khanapur MLA Veduma Bojju Patel raised concerns about vehicles being stopped at a forest check post on the main road connecting Adilabad, Mancherial, and Nirmal. This was causing inconvenience to travelers, especially at night.
To resolve this issue, MLA Veduma Bojju Patel met Forest Minister Konda Surekha in Hyderabad on Monday night. He submitted a request to cancel the orders issued by the Mancherial Forest Department (FDPT) and allow night travel.
Minister Konda Surekha responded positively to the request. She directed the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) to remove the restrictions and permit vehicle movement from 9 PM to 6 AM.
