The Hyderabad traffic police have announced nighttime traffic changes at Lakdikapul for a month. This adjustment is due to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation's (GHMC) plan to build a stormwater drain at Lakdikapul Junction to solve ongoing waterlogging problems.

Starting from June 11, the construction will last for a month, with possible extensions if needed. To reduce daytime traffic disruptions, the work will only occur between 11 PM and 5 AM.

The project will span 180 meters, starting at the Intelligence Office and ending at Dwaraka Hotel, passing by Lucky Restaurant and Venkateshwara Hotel.

During the work near Dwaraka Hotel (Old PS Saifabad), traffic from Nirankari heading towards Iqbal Minar will be rerouted to Ravindra Bharathi. Those traveling from Ravindra Bharathi to Old PS Saifabad will be redirected at Iqbal Minar towards Secretariat Junction.
