Nikhat Zareen, the talented boxer from Nizamabad in Telangana, recently returned to Hyderabad after winning back-to-back gold medals at the IBA Women’s Boxing World Championships in New Delhi. She received a warm welcome at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad, where she was greeted by State Sports Minister V Srinivas Goud, SATS chairman E Anjaneya Goud, former BCCI junior selection committee chairman and State badminton association official V Chamundeswaranath, and other officials.
Nikhat Zareen is the only Indian boxer to retain the world title, a remarkable achievement that has earned her widespread recognition and admiration. Despite being an unseeded boxer at the tournament, she demonstrated her exceptional skills and determination to emerge as the champion.
