North zone police in Hyderabad have arrested 19 individuals who were pretending to be transgenders in order to extort money from bus travelers, shopkeepers, and unsuspecting people. These imposters would wrongfully detain people at traffic signals, causing traffic congestion and annoyance.

During their patrol duties on Friday, the police noticed some individuals behaving suspiciously and forcefully collecting money from commuters, pedestrians, travelers, and shopkeepers at crowded traffic signals such as Paradise crossroads, Sweekar Upakar junction, near Jubilee bus stand, and Sangeet crossroads.
