Telangana PCC senior vice president G Niranjan accused the BJP government of trying to unfairly influence the Lok Sabha elections in the country. He spoke to the media at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad, claiming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is using investigation agencies against opposition parties to secure victory in the polls.

Niranjan believes that the Election Commission should ensure a fair and smooth Lok Sabha election process by making it mandatory for agencies like CBI, ED, and Income Tax to seek permission before conducting any raids before the elections. This, he argues, will prevent any biased actions against opposition parties and leaders.

He emphasized the need for impartiality in the election process and called for the EC to exercise its powers effectively. Niranjan expressed concern over the misuse of investigation agencies by the ruling government, stating that it undermines the democratic principles of free and fair elections.
