Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu has dismissed recent rumors about the Rajiv Upaasana Scheme. He clarified that applicants are not being selected based on their CIBIL scores, calling such claims false and misleading.

Bhatti addressed the media to clear up the confusion. He said the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam program is a major step toward reducing unemployment in Telangana. The scheme aims to provide financial support for youth self-employment.

He explained that the district-level selection process will be finished by May 15, while the loan approval process will wrap up by May 28. On June 2, which marks Telangana Formation Day, the government will begin handing out sanction letters in each constituency.

Bhatti criticized those spreading false information online. “Some people are trying to mislead the public using the issue of CIBIL scores without understanding the scheme,” he said.

He also noted that the government’s focus has been on helping new applicants who haven’t received loans from SC or other corporations over the past four years.

Taking a jab at the BJP, Bhatti said the party ran the state for a decade with a surplus budget but failed to launch any meaningful programs for job creation or self-employment.

He assured the public that the Congress-led government remains committed to supporting youth and creating more job opportunities across the state.
