Mahabubnagar: In a big political move, the Congress party, led by Jadcherla MLA Janampalli Anirudh Reddy, welcomed 300 local leaders from the BRS party. These leaders joined Congress to show their support. Among the new members are Kaveramma Peta Ward 1 councillor Feh Meena Naz and senior BRS leader Sheikh Baba, along with others.
MLA Reddy highlighted the importance of honesty and dedication within the party. He mentioned that while he had earlier said Congress would not accept members from other parties, they would still welcome individuals with good character who avoid illegal activities. He thanked the workers who helped the party succeed in the elections.
Reddy also called on officials from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to speed up roadwork from the Ambedkar statue to Signal Gadda. He warned that if the work isn’t finished in 30 days, he and former Sangeet Natak Akademi Chairman, Badmi Kumar, will start a protest on November 14.
