The Odisha Food and Craft Mela will be held at Shilparamam in Madhapur from February 7 to February 9. This event is organized by SOWW Odia Parivaar and will showcase Odisha’s traditional foods, handicrafts, and cultural performances.
Visitors will get to see beautiful Pattachitra paintings and finely woven textiles such as Sambalpuri, Maniabandha, and Tussar. Pipili appliqué work, a famous craft from Odisha, will also be displayed.
The mela aims to promote Odisha’s rich culture and craftsmanship. Along with the arts and crafts, a variety of delicious Odia dishes will be available for visitors to enjoy.
In addition to food and crafts, cultural performances will be a major highlight. The event will feature the graceful Odissi dance and lively folk music. Regional dance performances will take place in the evenings, celebrating Odisha’s artistic traditions.
