Gadwal: On Saturday, Jogulamba Zone DIG L.S. Chauhan IPS conducted annual inspections at the Alampur Circle Office, Alampur and Gadwal Rural Police Stations, and the District Police Headquarters. District SP T. Srinivas Rao IPS accompanied him on this visit.
During the inspection, DIG Chauhan closely checked the station records and surroundings. He stressed the importance of keeping records well and operating efficiently at the District Police Headquarters.
At the Alampur Circle Office in Kodandapur, he reviewed several important documents, including the Circle Information Book and Crime Digest. He instructed Alampur CI Ravi Babu to ensure quick responses to Dial 100 calls and to increase 24-hour patrolling by Blue Colts and Petrol Cars. He also emphasized regular inspections of police stations and staff performance supervision.
During his visit to the Alampur and Gadwal Rural Police Stations, DIG Chauhan inspected facilities like vehicle parking, the reception area, and the station writer desk. He also examined crucial records such as the General Diary and Duty Roster.
In his interaction with police personnel, DIG Chauhan highlighted the importance of accountability and serving the public diligently. He encouraged officers to apply the 5S system in police stations and respond promptly to emergencies. He was open to addressing any personal or professional concerns of the officers. He also instructed Blue Colts teams to monitor rowdy-sheeters and repeat offenders continuously.
At the District Police Headquarters, DIG Chauhan received a ceremonial guard of honor. He inspected various units, including the SB, DCRB, and the Admin Store. SP Srinivas Rao provided detailed briefings on each department’s operations.
DIG Chauhan advised staff to act quickly on service-related petitions and to follow superior officers’ directives without delay. He expressed satisfaction with the SP’s efforts to maintain law and order.
In support of the Telangana Haritha Haram initiative, DIG Chauhan and SP Srinivas Rao planted saplings at the District Police Headquarters and other locations, urging police staff to engage in environmental protection by planting trees.
The event was attended by officials like DSP Y. Mogulaiah, District Police AO Satish Kumar, and Armed Reserve DSP Narendra Rao, among others. This inspection underscores the Telangana Police’s dedication to high standards in law enforcement, transparency, public service, and environmental care.
