Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to open the Nalla Pochamma Temple, Mosque, and Church that were under construction in the Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat premises. After consulting with religious leaders, CM KCR has chosen a date that is acceptable to all.
On August 25, the Chief Minister will officially open the temple by installing a Nalla Pochamma idol in the presence of priests following Hindu traditions. On the same day, he will also inaugurate the mosque and church, respecting the Islamic and Christian beliefs.
CM KCR held a high-level meeting with ministers, the Chief Secretary, CMO officials, and R&B officials on Tuesday. He made the historic decision to open the worship places of the three religions on the same day after consulting with Hindu, Muslim, and Christian leaders. The CM also discussed this matter with the Executive members of the Telangana Secretariat Employees Association.
