In Gadwal, there is an unused integrated market for both vegetables and non-vegetarian items that was built during the previous BRS government. This market, started by then agriculture minister Niranjan Reddy, remains unused in Ieeja Municipality. This has caused inconvenience for vendors who are forced to sell their goods on the roads, leading to traffic jams on the main road in Ieeja Town.

The situation has left people in dire straits as the sale of chicken, mutton, and fish on the side roads has led to contamination of food due to smoke, dust, and dirt from vehicles. As a result, residents consuming this contaminated food are falling ill and spending a significant amount on treatment. The municipal authorities have been accused of negligence for not bringing the integrated market into use by leaders of the All-State Party. It is essential for the authorities to act promptly and make use of the integrated market to address these issues.
