The leader of the AIMIM political party, Asaduddin Owaisi, criticized the BJP for their plans to conduct a “surgical strike” in Telangana’s Old City. Owaisi suggested that if the BJP truly had the courage, they should instead conduct a surgical strike on China. The criticism comes after the BJP’s state chief, Bandi Sanjay, claimed that the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi and AIMIM were trying to win GHMC polls with the help of voters from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Rohingya.

During a public meeting in Sangareddy, Owaisi also spoke out against Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s claims of a covert understanding between himself and KCR. He questioned why Shah was concerned about who had control when crores of rupees were being approved for temples.
