Hyderabad: Oxford Grammar High School marked its 15th investiture ceremony for the 2025–26 academic year with great enthusiasm. The event took place on the school grounds, celebrating a decade and a half of encouraging student leadership and responsibility. The school cabinet’s parade showcased their discipline and unity. Afterward, a ceremony was held where Major General Dr. A. V. K. Mohan and other distinguished guests awarded badges to the newly elected student council. The students then took a solemn oath as the school flag was displayed, symbolizing loyalty, unity, and service.
Major General Dr. A. V. K. Mohan highlighted the need to protect nature and maintain cleanliness in our surroundings. He urged everyone to take responsibility for creating a cleaner, greener India. He shared an insightful message, encouraging students to learn from everyday objects. “A mirror teaches us reflection and self-awareness, while a clock teaches us discipline and time management,” he said, receiving applause from the audience.
He further added, “A teacher must be a role model, embodying knowledge, humility, and values. Parents are the first teachers, shaping future leaders not just for school, but for society.”
