The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has launched the Palle Velugu Town Bus Pass to reduce the financial burden of passengers. This pass will be implemented in Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar, Nizamabad, and Nalgonda districts. The pass will be available from July 18.

With the town bus pass, passengers can have unlimited travel within a 10 km radius in Karimnagar and Mahabubnagar, and within a 5 km radius in Nizamabad and Nalgonda. The price of the pass is Rs 800 per month for a 10 km radius and Rs 500 for a 5 km radius. The general bus pass is already available in Hyderabad and Warangal.

The TSRTC has introduced this new facility based on the requests received from passengers to implement the bus pass in district centers. Interested passengers can contact TSRTC call center numbers 040-69440000 or 040-23450033 for more information.

The Managing Director of TSRTC, VC Sajjanar, stated that this bus pass is aimed at reducing the financial burden on employees and small traders who travel frequently in district centers. Depending on passenger feedback, the Palle Velugu town bus pass may be expanded to more areas in the future.
