The Bolarum railway station in Hyderabad is facing neglect, with no back entrance for passengers on the west side. This lack of access is causing difficulties for daily passengers and travelers, who are also without basic facilities like a proper ramp or ticket-vending machine. Despite requests for development work, no concrete measures have been taken by SCR officials.

Daily passengers have highlighted the issue of the station’s lack of a west entrance, with nearly 100 colonies situated on that side. The only available gate is damaged, making it challenging for people to reach the station. The Federation of New Bolarum Colonies has been advocating for a foot-overbridge to improve accessibility.

President of FNBC, Murali Krishna, emphasized the need for additional exit points at the station, as the current setup forces passengers to take a longer route to the main entrance. Basic facilities like an elevator, ramp, and ticket-vending machine are also required to attract more travelers to the strategically located Bolarum railway station.

Despite being an important stop for trains like Devagiri and serving around 50 trains, the Bolarum station is lacking in facilities compared to other renovated stations. Locals continue to demand basic amenities like a back entrance and lifts, but their complaints have not been addressed by authorities. The station sees an average of 500 passengers daily.
