Yellandu (Kothagudem): Rajya Sabha MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra has urged thousands of BRS party workers from the Yellandu constituency to take part in a major event in Warangal on April 27. The event is being organized as part of the BRS party’s silver jubilee celebrations.
A large meeting was held in Yellandu on Tuesday, led by former MLA Banoth Haripriya Naik. MP Ravichandra was the chief guest and addressed the gathering. He said that people across Telangana are eager to hear BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) speak at the meeting. Over 10 lakh (1 million) people are expected to attend.
Ravichandra criticized the Congress-led government, saying it made promises that are now proving impossible to keep. He claimed that people are disappointed and now regret turning away from KCR and the BRS party.
He also targeted Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, stating that he should remember his position is due to the efforts of KCR. Ravichandra reminded everyone that Telangana was formed because of KCR’s long struggle.
District BRS president Rega Kantha Rao also spoke at the meeting. He said that steps are being taken to ensure the success of the Warangal gathering. He encouraged all party workers to hoist BRS party flags in their villages before the event.
Several other leaders attended the meeting, including former Library Association president Dindigala Rajender, former Mahabubabad ZP chairperson Angoth Bindu, former DCCB director Lakkineni Surender, Sewalal Sena state president Sanjeev Nayak, and various local party in-charges.
