Hyderabad: Professor Aldas Janaiah, the Vice-Chancellor of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU), has clarified rumors in the media about salary payments. He confirmed that staff received their salaries on September 4, and pensions were fully paid.
“There is no basis to the reports claiming university staff haven’t been paid,” stated Prof. Janaiah. He highlighted that PJTSAU has consistently paid salaries by the 3rd of every month for the past 20 months, and pensions have been released by the 1st for the last ten months.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed his concern over false statements made by some public figures, especially during Teachers’ Day on September 5. “It’s unfortunate that some well-known individuals are spreading unverified information, affecting our institution’s reputation and staff morale,” he remarked.
