Hyderabad: On Teachers’ Day, five faculty members from Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU) received the Best Teacher Awards from the State Government. Professor Aldas Janaiah, the Vice-Chancellor, congratulated them warmly.
The awards were given by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at a ceremony at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad on Friday. The honored faculty are Dr. J. Hemanth Kumar, Dr. Y. Praveen Kumar, Dr. V. Hemalatha, Dr. J. Rajender, and Dr. J. Sai Prasad for their excellent contribution to teaching and agriculture education.
Professor Janaiah praised their dedication and influence on students and academics. He expressed pride in PJTAU’s recognition at a state-level event attended by the Chief Minister after ten years. This award highlights the university’s commitment to quality education and its role in agricultural innovation and rural development. The Vice-Chancellor reiterated PJTAU’s mission to prepare future professionals and support the state’s agricultural growth.
