    In NagarKurnool, the police stopped a bike that appeared suspicious during a routine vehicle check at Kotra Junction, within the Kalwakurthy area. The bike, with the license plate TS 07 HZ 3212, was coming from Hyderabad. Upon inspecting the bike, the police discovered a large quantity of gold with the rider.

    The rider was identified as Allam Shiva, a resident of Ambarpet. He confessed to carrying out several thefts in Velgonda and nearby areas over the past month.

    Shiva admitted to breaking into a house in Peddapur village and stealing 2.5 tolas of gold. He also stole 7.5 tolas of gold ornaments in Kuppagandla, 3.5 tolas of gold in Revalli village of Urukonda Mandal, 5 grams in Vengampally of Kalwakurthy Mandal, and 4 tolas in Vadyal village of Midjil Mandal. Altogether, he confessed to stealing 18 tolas of gold.

    The police successfully recovered the stolen gold from Shiva and arrested him. He was sent to Kalwakurthy court for remand. District Superintendent of Police, Gaikwad Vibhav Raghunath, praised CI Vishnuvardhan Reddy and the Sub-Inspector teams from Veldhanda and Kalwakurthy for their diligent work in identifying the thief and solving multiple theft cases.
