    Police in Nagarkurnool conducted a large-scale raid on Gutka Base, a settlement in the district headquarters. The raid was led by CCS CI Shankar after they received information about illegal storage of Gutka packets in the market yard.

    During the raid, a trader named Santosh was found to have illegally stored Gutka packets and paan masala packets. The police seized these packets and have registered a case to investigate the matter further.

    The seized Gutka packets are estimated to be worth between 8 to 10 lakhs. CCS CI Shankar emphasized that buying and selling Gutka is a crime, and strict action should be taken against those involved. District SP Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath mentioned that these raids were conducted on official orders.
