In Rangareddy, the police are conducting vehicle inspections to follow election code regulations. As a result of these inspections, they have found and seized significant amounts of cash in separate incidents.

One incident occurred in Vikarabad at NTR Square. The police stopped and seized a car with the registration number TS 09 FA 2737, which was a Verna. The car was traveling from Masab Tank in Hyderabad to Tandoor. The police found Rs 9 lakh 50 thousand in cash in the possession of Mohammed Muheeth, a car dealer from Masab Tank, Asif Nagar, Hyderabad.

Another incident took place in Ibrahimpatnam, where the police were conducting vehicle inspections on Manchal Road near Bharat Gardens. During the checks, they discovered an undisclosed amount of Rs 6.55 lakh in cash, which they subsequently seized. The seizure was made because there was no proper documentation for the cash.

Sub-inspector Maraiah confirmed that the seized money would be given to the election special wing as part of the strict enforcement of the election code.
