Telangana DGP Anjani Kumar praised the police officers for successfully carrying out the Assembly elections in a peaceful manner. Despite the challenges faced along the way, the official stated that everything turned out well in the end. The election season was marked by high intensity, but it concluded peacefully.
The DGP expressed his gratitude to all the newly-posted unit officers and young IPS officers who were able to effectively handle their roles despite not having much time to understand the area and its challenges. He also thanked the families of the police officers for their support during this period.
Moving forward, the focus will be on ensuring the safe storage of EVMs and maintaining peace in areas affected by Left Wing Extremism (LWE).
