Khammam: Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, the Revenue Minister, launched the Eruvaka event at Kusumanchi Mandal Centre during his Sunday visit to the Palair constituency.
The minister actively participated by ploughing fields, capturing the attention of everyone present. He wished the farmers and women laborers a prosperous Eruvaka. Reddy expressed his hope for favorable rains this year to position Telangana as a leading dairy exporter in India. He conveyed his joy in joining the beloved farmers of Palair for this event, appreciating their hard work in ensuring food security.
Reddy noted that the southwest monsoon arrived fifteen days early, marking the start of the farming season. He emphasized the government’s efforts to utilize every drop of water, wishing happiness and success for all state farmers. Praising the Indiramma government, he highlighted its support for farmers’ financial growth by promising Rs 12,000 investment aid for each eligible acre starting the next day. He expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister on behalf of the people.
The minister assured that the government is dedicated to fulfilling its promises to farmers. Plans are in place to provide quality seeds and fertilizers efficiently. Despite the Kaleshwaram setback, Telangana leads in grain production nationwide. Reddy mentioned initiatives like free electricity, farmer assurance, and quality seeds, which are being carried out as per plan.
