IT and ED officials conducted raids at the residence of Congress leader Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy in Khammam. The searches started at his house at 3 o’clock in the morning and officials arrived in 8 vehicles. They first seized cell phones and then began the inspections. The raids are also taking place in Nandagiri Hills, Hyderabad.
Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy had anticipated these IT attacks. In a press conference on Wednesday, he stated that the BJP and BRS were behind these searches at his residence, his family members’ houses, and his followers’ houses. He mentioned that he expected this to happen soon after his speech. He was supposed to make his nomination on Thursday, so we will have to wait and see if there will be any changes due to these IT and ED attacks.
