Former minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah recently met CM KCR for about 20 minutes. Ponnala had recently left the Congress party. The day before, KTR visited Ponnala’s house and invited him to join the BRS party. Ponnala is expected to announce the date of his joining BRS soon.
Ponnala Lakshmaiah, who is from Jangaon constituency, was denied a ticket and decided to join BRS after KTR promised him a good position in the party.
In other news, KCR released the BRS manifesto and gave the B-Forms to 51 candidates.
