    Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakar criticized the BJP government at the Centre, saying they did not help Telangana develop in the last decade. He stated this at a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad. Ponnam Prabhakar claimed that the BJP had not fulfilled any promises made in the AP Reorganisation Act and even gave away 7 mandals of Telangana to Andhra Pradesh.

    He also accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of failing to create the promised two crore jobs each year and of selling off important companies to wealthy industrialists. Ponnam Prabhakar said that the BJP does not have a clear agenda and is not supportive of Dalits and backward classes. He criticized the BJP for using religion to gain votes and for playing emotional politics.

    The Minister announced that Congress leaders will hold protests across Telangana on April 14 to highlight the failures of the BJP and BRS parties.
