Tension rose in Kotapalli mandal of Mancherial district after several villages found posters criticizing Maoist activities. These posters were seen in Pangidi Somaram, Nakkalapalli, and Venchapalli villages, causing concern among local residents.
The posters were written anonymously and strongly opposed the actions of the Maoists. One message asked, “How long will your atrocities continue, Maoists?” Another poster questioned whether the Maoists were stopping tribal people from accessing forest areas that they have traditionally used.
These messages show growing frustration among locals, especially tribal communities, who are unhappy with the fear and restrictions caused by the Maoist presence. Authorities are now investigating where the posters came from, and security has been increased in the area to keep the situation under control.
