BRS working president K T Rama Rao, who is also the IT Minister, stated on Friday that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s membership of Lok Sabha was canceled because he insulted the surname of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He questioned the Speaker about what action will be taken against Bandi Sanjay for insulting Telangana Chief Minister.

Rahul Gandhi had previously made a controversial comment about why all thieves have Modi as their last name. Following a complaint by BJP leaders, Rahul Gandhi was sentenced to two years in prison.
