Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swami’s Pragna Vikas Association is organizing essay-writing and drawing competitions for students in classes VI to X. These competitions are open to students from both government and private schools, and they can participate in either Telugu or English.
Yadagiri Shekhar Rao from the Pragna team mentioned on Monday that the competitions have been approved by the Director of School Education. Importantly, there is no registration fee for participation.
Students need to choose one topic from three options. The topics are: ‘My gratitude to My Mother Land Bharath’, ‘My gratitude to all those brave leaders who guard the borders’, and ‘My gratitude to all those who freed Bharat from the shackles of foreign rule’.
The competitions are divided into three levels. At level 1, two top students will be selected from each school by July 31.
At level 2, district-level competitions will be held on August 2 and 3. Only the first and second place winners from each school will compete at this stage. Pragna’s district coordinators will inform school principals and leaders about the district centers.
The winners at the district level will receive cash prizes. The first-place winner will get Rs 6,000 and the second-place winner will get Rs 3,000. These prizes will be awarded by Jeeyar Swami on August 7.
At level 3, the State-level competitions will take place on August 7 at Swamiji’s Ashram in Munchital, Hyderabad. The top two students from each district will compete here.
The first and second-prize winners in the State-level competition will receive cash prizes of Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000, respectively, also awarded by Jeeyar Swami.
